Rémy Coste has been a Quechua technical partner since 2012. This man from Haut-Savoie has an individual profile and a unique path to follow. Originally destined for a career in baking, he was awarded Meilleur Ouvrier (Best Worker) in France in 2000. But he has a passion: mushing. So he decided to change direction and realise his dreams by turning professional in 2007.
To participate in sled dog racing, Rémy and his dogs need to practise a range of outdoor activities, depending on their particular training needs, the seasons and weather conditions. This makes him one of the brand’s most versatile partners. He works with the Quechua teams in the development of hiking, Nordic skiing and mountain trail-type products.
Constantly question yourself so that you learn and grow and reach your goals.
What I like about racing sled dogs
The unique communion that exists with my dogs and nature is for me the most beautiful thing in this sport. I also enjoy discovering new places through travelling to destinations that are each more magical than the last.
My best memory
It’s difficult to sort through all the emotions that make up my sport. Each outing, each practice session and each competition gives me magical moments that I share with my dogs.
