    The grey is actually Blue

Ordered the dark grey pair with orange bits and they are not grey, they are more like royal blue with yellow bits. The listing does say they are blue but I was expecting like a grey/blue from the image but trust me its not!
Decathlon have been very helpful through but thought I should warn other buyers.

Aug 2015 now looking to replace
    Comfort and Long Lasting non

I purchased these in Aug 2015 and use for most days that I'm working. I'm a big guy and find most trainers last me around a month or so, not these as I'm still using today, the tred pattern is almost worn through so just about to purchase a second pair, if a beer company made them then they would be classed as probably the best hiking shoes on the planet - for me they are......

    Great for Cycling!
Lightweight, comfortable and supportive Tongue has a tendency to curl at edges!

I use these primarily as cycling shoes. Despite the obvious lack of a cleat these shoes provide excellent grip and stability on the pedals and are incredibly light and comfortable. Off the bike they are comfortable enough to wear all day, what more can you ask of a shoe?

Features

Which size should I select?
When taking up hiking, do not hesitate to take a size above your usual shoe size to guarantee an optimal comfort when walking downhill and to prevent your toes rubbing the tops of the shoe. Tip: Before any descent, make sure your nails are cut and check that your laces are tightened to prevent your foot from sliding forward in the shoe.
Crosscontact sole
The design of the soles has been the subject of extensive research in our laboratories, combined with a specific rubber formulation to offer the best compromise between grip and traction. The design of the Arpenaz 500 sole gives adhesion rather than traction. Traction: Consists of not sliding into loose ground (flat or hilly). Adhesion: consists of not slipping when on hard ground (wet or dry).
Buying tips
Try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several models or sizes, if necessary. Check two comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying them on. Don't hesitate to walk around the store. Start using them gradually during short hikes for your child to wear them in gently.
