QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm (200 mm of rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. Our test means we can prevent any water getting through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. Wind resistance: We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel and on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind. Tested in real conditions.
Designed to
5 people on a family camp seeking a tent with 2 rooms, one that sleeps 2 and another that sleeps 3 and a very large living area.
All of our tents can be repaired in your local Decathlon workshop.

Care instructions
1 CLEANING: clean the tent with soapy water if necessary, then rinse (with a hose if possible). Dry completely before storage. 2 SAP STAINS: very difficult to clean: once dry, gently scratch the stain. Rubbing an ice cube on the underside will make it brittle, making it easier to remove. 3 STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.

Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the stays in position around the tent should remain habitable;e under wind speeds measuring 50 km/h at ground level.
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested: the WHOLE TENT under 200 litres/hour/sqm (200 mm/hour) for 4 hours! as well as in a test mission. (2000 mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
