The advantages of synthetic wadding
The wadding is a good alternative to feathers: - it has good thermal insulation even when wet - easy maintenance: machine washable on 40°C and can be machine dried
In the event of rain
This down jacket's fabric is water repellent. It enables water drops to roll on the fabric which delays water penetration in the down jacket, until you can shelter. However, the down jacket is not waterproof. We recommend you wear a waterproof jacket over the down jacket in case you are exposed to prolonged rain.
