Good value but expected shorter dimensions
Good value and weight Too long pack

The poles are too long, can you make them half of their sizes because I can't place them between my bike rear panniers, other wise it exceeds the rear bike reflector.

    Great Tent
    lightweight, quality

Great tent. My only issue is, the tent should have been priced higher by adding pre-bent aluminium poles eliminating the possibility of broken fibre-glass poles. And the color would have been great if it was darker (dark olive), to go with the trees. (2nd review. My last review was unfairly harsh).

    Compact and dry.

Used this tent for 2 summers. Only 5 nights in all in France,s Switzerland and Belgium, but weather has varied. Heavy rain, light rain, storm, showers and sunshine. No leaks anywhere.
It does condensate between layers, but I expected that and can wipe it off easily.
Takes 5 minutes to put it up and kit out for 2 people with mats, sleeping bags and pillows. So easy to put up. Simple to fold, roll and pack away.
We are 2 tall slim people sleeping in it. Very little room for anything else inside.
Really happy with this item. So looking forward to using it again.

    Great Festival Tent
Waterproof, Windproof, Easy to put up, light

Took this tent to download 2016, rain was horrendous but tent was bone dry inside, couldn't be happier. Took 5 minutes to put up having watched the video before hand.
Probably not a 2 person tent, but 1.5, perfect for one person with all your festival bags and gear.
    Great for £20!

    Subpar for a Decathlon tent.
Price Delusional notion of it being a two person tent.

I have used many popup tents from the same brand and loved them (above all the mark one) and their previous two person tent which i bought a sleepingbed (airbed/sheets/blankets in one) for to use on the rare occasion i would travel with my spouse. Sadly it got slashed and this was the offer for replacement. This model does not fit all the kit that was sold by the previous model and looks and feels a cheaper build.

I wish i had saved my receipt so i could exchange or bring it back as it is not what they advertise.

PS: Decathlon please go back to selling the previous model two person iglo tent.

    Brand's answer :

    Hello,

Thanks for getting in touch, I apologise for the poor experience you have had with the Arpenaz 2 man tent. Firstly, I shall pass your feedback on to the product manager for this range to ensure we consider all comments in our future ranges. Secondly, we will be able to exchange this for you should you be able to pop into your local store.

I currently use this tent and would recommend it: http//www.decathlon.co.uk/2-seconds-easy-ii-pop-up-tent-2-man-green-id_8300687.html which I find ideal for 2 people. Should you want an extra bit of room then the 3 man version is a good choice: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/2-seconds-easy-iii-pop-up-tent-3-man-green-id_8347887.html%20%EF%BB%BF

Thanks once again and I hope this helps, Chris.
