    Comfortable, colourful and very practical
Comfortable, Lots of pockets, rain cover, waist st Nothing

This day sack was a such a great purchase. Really good value for money. I didn't find any other bag of a decent day size with the additional features this has: waist straps and a waist pocket, side pockets, rain cover included, air flow/ventilated back and sturdy back insert for comfort, space for water bladder and loop for H20 straw, small internal zip pocket with key loop and large pocket on outside of bag aswell. It's colourful and comfortable, and seems durable too.

Care instructions
To ensure fabrics maintain their properties (particularly the waterproofing), we do not recommend washing them in the washing machine, tumble drying them, dry-cleaning them or using bleach. Do not iron. To clean your backpack by hand, use warm soapy water and a brush if needed. After a few years of use, you should renew the water repellent properties of the fabric using a waterproofing spray.
Storage Tips
Store your back in a dry place.
Restricted use
Check if wearer's size is compatible with the carrying system.

Garment waterproofing
Built-in rain cover.
Laboratory tests
We carry out laboratory tests to check components: fabric, buckles, webbing, foam, zips, etc. Fabrics are tested for: resistance to rubbing, tearing, colour-fastness under UV rays, washing, waterproofing...A test on the final product, which speeds up the effects of impact on the backpack over the years, to check resistance of the assemblies: the backpack is weighted then placed on a dummy which then reproduces the movement of fast walking through thousands of cycles.
10-year technical partnership guarantee
The Strenfit component brand, Quechua's partner for researching and testing its components and assemblies, conducted tests simulating backpack ageing. The tests focused on components, seams and the end product. The results enable Quechua and Strenfit to guarantee the tested bags for 10 years from the purchase date provided on the till receipt.
10-year guarantee, conditions
The guarantee covers any backpack faults, except those caused by normal wear and tear and improper use. This special 10-year guarantee will only be granted upon presentation of the product and sales receipt. If the product is covered by the warranted, it will be repaired or exchanged for free. This commercial guarantee does not affect any statutory guarantees that are applicable in the country of purchase.
How is backpack volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
Environmental measurements
Oxylane and Quechua have chosen to inform you about the environmental impact of the backpacks over their entire life cycle. This work resulted from an experiment completed in July 2011 alongside the French Ministry of Ecology. Scores ranging from A to E were awarded based on comparisons between Quechua's backpacks only. Details on this project and the calculation methods used are available at http://www.oxylane.com/20/demarche-environnementale
How to adjust your backpack?
1 - Loosen all the straps (straps, hip belt, load adjuster straps). 2 - Put the backpack on. 3 - For backpacks with a capacity of 50 L or more, place the hip belt correctly (it should sit over the pelvis) and tighten it. For smaller volumes, place the belt around the waist. 4 – tighten the shoulder straps. 5 – Finally, adjust the load adjuster straps as needed.
How to pack a backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Place heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Pack your clothes around these items. The groundsheet should be placed under the flap and the tent beneath the pack if there is no space inside. Keep a rainproof jacket and fleece close at hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. If carrying a hydration pack (water bladder), this should be placed in its special pocket along the back.
"Air Cooling" certified backpacks are subjected to a laboratory test that measures the carrying system's ventilation effectiveness: A heated and perspiring mannequin is used to scientifically and objectively measure how well the pack limits perspiration. This label is only given to packs that perform significantly better than a "basic" model in the range (without any particular cooling system).
