Much more than a ski glove
Warm and dry whatever the weather needs a cuff pull on side of back of hand

Bought for daily cycling in December this glove has performed brilliantly. It's kept hands warm and dry. I washed it every use given I got sweaty and muddy on the ride. I have also telemark nd cross country skied with them in Sweden in -20c and these gloves have kept me warm.

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont-Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, as we remain convinced that only through rigorous testing under real world conditions, like the ones you will be using them in, can we continue to provide you with better products than ever.

Adapted clothing
The body produces heat during exercise, which is preserved thanks to the thermal insulation of the outfit. If the clothing is unfit for this purpose, the body will cool down and the blood flow to the hands will drop in order to keep the central core warm. The gloves and clothing should therefore be adapted for use to keep hands comfortable. If you're not sure, it's always best to select a pair of hiking gloves that are slightly too big rather than too small.
Recommended temperature = 2°C
Suited to the ambient temperature for which 100% of testers judge the thermal sensation to be acceptable on their hands. This is 2°C for Forclaz 700 Wind gloves.
Limit temperature = -4°C
Suited to the ambient temperature for which 90% of testers judge the thermal sensation to be acceptable on their hands. This is -4°C for Forclaz 700 Wind gloves.
How is the use temperature measured?
All our gloves are laboratory tested using a thermal hand to determine the level of warmth as well as the minimum usage temperatures. The minimum use temperatures (recommended and limits) are based on a study carried out on a panel of 23 testers in walking situations exposed to temperatures ranging from 5°C to -20°C and wind of 10 km/h. These temperatures are only valid in walking situations.
Water-repellent fabric
Raindrops roll off the fabric. But the glove is not waterproof. For lasting protection from the rain, you need to wear a waterproof overglove or overmitten.
Dexterity of the glove
The dexterity of a glove is its ability to manipulate objects. Our gloves have been scored in the laboratory on a scale of 1 to 5. The nearer the glove's dexterity rating gets to 5, the closer the manipulation when wearing the glove gets to that of a bare hand. In particular, we tested the ability to easily put on and open your jacket.
