    Sizing all wrong!
Liked the orange lining. Poor sizing - order two sizes up from your usual.

I'm 5'8" and 11 1/2 stone so I'd like to think pretty average.
I'm a medium in M&S, Fat Face, Whitestuff etc but I ordered a Large size after reading the reviews but that was skin tight. I ordered a replacement XL and that was fine on the chest but the arms were much too wide and I looked like the Michelin Man! So a complete waste of time and the added grief of having to pay for return postage just rubbed salt into the wound. Not impressed - although having said that the jacket looked good quality, it's just the sizing that's completely up the creek!

Care instructions
Caring for down jackets requires special attention. We recommend using specialist dry cleaning services for the care of your down jacket. Washing: machine wash at 30°C; add 2 tennis balls to ventilate the down. Rinse twice. Tumble drying highly recommended: synthetic programme with three tennis balls to ventilate the down; put the jacket through several cycles until the down has dried completely, otherwise it may clump, losing insulating power. See the care instructions in the online guide
Storage Tips
Keep on a hanger in a clean and dry place
Restricted use
Not suitable for mountain hiking in rainy weather

Inflating Power of down/feather filling
This 85/15 padded gilet has a guaranteed minimum fill power of 660 CUIN. The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. Down with higher fill power takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.
The advantages of duck down and feather filling*
The durable and inflating properties of down give this jacket 3 qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra low weight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This allows you to lighten the load in your backpack - Ultra compactable * Our feathers come from Chinese ducks reared for their meat; we remove their feathers after slaughter. We hold the death certificates for these ducks.
Care advice for a down jacket with down and feather filling
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Follow our advice by clicking on the link below: <a href="http://www.quechua.com/wash-your-down-jacket" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.quechua.fr/sites/quechua_com/files/image-entretien-doudoune.jpg" alt="How to wash and dry your down jacket"><br>http://www.quechua.com/wash-your-down-jacket</a>
In case of rain
The material of the quilted jacket is water repellent. It allows drops of water to slide off the fabric which delays penetration of water into the jacket while you get out of the rain. But the down jacket is not waterproof. We therefore recommend wearing a waterproof jacket over the down jacket in the event of prolonged exposure to rain.
