    Very practical for mid-season outdoor

Very practical for mid-season outdoor (spring /falls and sometime summer in north :) Germany with removal fleece inside and winnd/waterproof material outside. I have bought last seasons jacket last year and this year I have came back to this Decathlon design as I could not find better ratio price/quality/"fit the purpose"

Storage Tips
Ensure that this waterproof protective garment is perfectly dry before storing, preferably on a hanger. To avoid damaging the fabric, store unfolded in a dry place.

What do you mean by a waterproof jacket?
The resistance of a fabric to water seepage. This is measured using an approved water pressure test. Knowing that the average water pressure of rain varies from 1000 mm to 2000 mm, a fabric is considered waterproof above 2000 mm. Our products can withstand pressure of between 2,000 and 10,000 mm which means they are very waterproof and suitable for all types of weather including extreme conditions.
What do you mean by sealed seams or waterproof strips?
These sealed (or taped) seams are closed with waterproof thermo-sealed strips. They are placed behind the seams and are essential for waterproofing clothing so that water cannot enter through capillarity (water being absorbed by the threads and holes of the fabric).
Fleece component: Insulation thanks to the air
The fleece component is designed to trap air in the thick pile formed by its texture; the air keeps the body warm because of its naturally insulating properties. It is the brushing of the knit fabric that traps the air.
Coating applied to the fabric makes it waterproof and windproof. In this effect, a waterproof cloth has the technical characteristics to be certified windbreaker. It is very important to be protected from the wind, in activity as at rest, because it cools the body enormously.
1/ Machine wash (30°C): Hook and loop fasteners, soft wash. Wash jackets and trousers inside out. Loosen the straps and elasticated parts. 2/ Do not fold the garment too much in the machine: may wear out more quickly. 3/ Do not mix clothing types and colours. 4/ Do not use bleach. 5/ Choose a full rinse and gentle spin cycle.
A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The environmental impacts of the product are calculated over its entire life cycle and with the variety of indicators. An overall ABCDE score is given to help you identify products with the best environmental performance more readily by comparing the same type of product (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental impact.
