    Great Jacket
Looks well, inner jacket comes out very easily, Other colourways aren't v. nice for boys.

Bought the navy with pink zip in an age 10 for my 9 year old daughter. It fits well with lots of room if you wanted to add a jumper etc. It's lovely on and feels very warm without being bulky and heavy. Very pleased so far with it.

What do you mean by a waterproof jacket?
The resistance of a fabric to water seepage. This is measured using an approved water pressure test. Knowing that the average water pressure of rain varies from 1000 mm to 2000 mm, a fabric is considered waterproof above 2000 mm. Our products resist pressure from 2000 to 10,000 mm. They are therefore very waterproof and suited to even the most extreme weather conditions.
What do you mean by sealed seams or waterproof strips?
These sealed (or taped) seams are closed with waterproof thermo-sealed strips. They are placed behind the seams and are essential for waterproofing clothing so that water cannot enter through capillarity (water being absorbed by the threads and holes of the fabric).
3-in-1 jacket with removable padded lining. This will help you cope with every situation depending on the weather conditions: rainy or cold. Please note: the inner padded jacket must be turned inside out when worn by itself.
Component breathability:
To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapour generated by physical activity is evaporated, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / >920 = little or no breathability.
Water repellent component:
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight and breathable. Fabric is made water repellent by applying a treatment to the outer surface. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifetime (with every 2 or 3 washes). All the Quechua waterproof jackets have received a water-repellent treatment
Coating applied to the fabric makes it waterproof and windproof. Waterproof fabric has the necessary technical characteristics to be considered windproof. Protection from the wind is critical, as whether playing sports or at rest, wind can chill the body significantly.
Technical details:
Adjustable ergonomic hood for optimal protection. Adjustable cuffs, adjustable hem (using toggles), central zip opening and two hand pockets.
Underarm ventilation wicks away perspiration even more quickly.
