Sizing and fit information
Quite a close-fitting cut. The jacket's inner volume allows you to wear it over a thin second layer such as a micro-fleece.
2 hand pockets + 1 chest pocket with zip fastening.
The best product
Thumb-hole at the end of the sleeve to avoid all heat loss and for greater comfort when moving.
Thermal comfort and windproof
Wind considerably increases the effect of the cold! With an outside temperature of 0°C and 20 km/h winds, it will feel like the temperature is -10°C. "Windproof" components help eliminate the discomfort linked to this "freezing effect". They are very effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind.
Water-repellent component (different to being waterproof)
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. Therefore the textile does not absorb water and remains light, breathable and warm. Water repellence is obtained by a treatment applied on the outer part of the fabric. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifetime (recommended after every three washes).
