Good Jacket

I used this jacket on a trek in the Himalayas. It was used in camp. The minimum temperature was -5C.

It is well made, warm and light. It's a shame it's been discontinued.
    No complaints.

Inflating Power of down/feather filling
For this down jacket with its 85/15 filling, the inflating power is guaranteed to be 660 CUIN or above. The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. Down with higher fill power takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.
Feather origin
Thanks to our traceability system, we can guarantee the origin of the feathers, which are sourced in accordance with our responsible material commitments. Our suppliers are committed to using only feathers that come from ducks that are bred for their meat and which are plucked after slaughtering.
The advantages of duck down and feather filling*
The down's long-lasting fill power gives it 3 important qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra-lightweight: with equal warmth feather is lighter than synthetic wadding. Which makes your backpack lighter - Ultra-compressible *Our feathers come from Chinese ducks raised for their meat, we collect their feathers after they have been killed.
Care instructions for jackets containing down and feathers
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Follow our tips by clicking the link below:

In the event of rain
This down jacket fabric is water-repellent. It allows water droplets to roll off the fabric, which delays the time it takes for water to penetrate the down jacket, giving you time to seek shelter. The shoulders and hood of the down jacket, which are more exposed to the rain, are waterproof. However, we advise you to wear a waterproof jacket over the down jacket in case of prolonged exposure to rain.
