    Fantastic value
Well constructed product at a great price. None!

Great product. Bought boots to complete 100 miles of Thames Pathway in 6 days. The boots were absolutely fantastic with no blisters despite excessive heat in late August. Stood up well to intensive use

Great boot, sound price, slightly narrow.
Good uppers and grippy sole just a tad tight across the bridge of the foot

Really competitively priced boots that are great quality. Uppers are really comfortable and well cut and look quality. Soles have grippy deep cleats that so far have given excellent performance.
The only issue so far has been the fact they are slightly narrower to what I've been used to - however they seem to be breaking in and I hope within the next month that they'll be ideal.
    Well worth the investment.

Footwear waterproofing test.
Tested both in the lab and real-world usage, NOVADRY®-equipped footwear guarantees optimum waterproofing and breathability. First, the shoe is immersed in water while internal air pressure is applied to check that no bubbles form on the surface of the footwear. Next, shoes are fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking and half immersed in water so we can test that the inside remains perfectly dry.
3 levels of waterproofing.
During the waterproofing test, we test 3 levels of waterproofing: 2000 flexes (around 2 hours of walking), 4000 flexes (around 4 hours of walking) and 8000 flexes (around 8 hours of walking). Of course, after this test or in use, the shoe regains its original waterproofing once dry.
Shoe waterproofing level.
The Forclaz 100 High boot is waterproof for 4000 flexes.
Field tests.
All our shoes undergo use and comfort tests carried out by users who represent the target market in conditions identical to those found in typical use. Our Field Test Missions team up the product manager with people who aren't affiliated with QUECHUA, to test, improve, and validate our products.
Laboratory tests.
Other laboratory tests are also conducted to approve the quality of the following components: attachment of eyelets and webbing, assembly, toxicology, UV resistance, sole and upper component abrasion, accelerated ageing.
Try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check two comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying them on. Don't hesitate to walk around the store. Gradually start walking in your shoes during the first few hikes to break them in.
