    Amazingly inadequate set-up instructions.

Four cartoon images do not tell you how to erect this tent.

Technical card

Composition
Outer fabric : 100.0% Polyester (PES) Inside room : 100.0% Polyester (PES) Pole : 100.0% Aluminium
Tests
The waterproofing of Quechua tents is tested by placing a pitched tent under a 200 L/m²/hr shower (tropical rain) for 4 hours and checking that no water gets through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) measures the waterproofing of the fabric. Wind resistance: tents are pitched in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform to expose each side of the tent to the wind. We also carry out numerous field tests in real-life conditions.
Designed to
2 people trekking and bivouacking for several days needing an ultra-light and compact tent, with a large storage space.

Tips

Care instructions
1 CLEANING - if needed, clean the tent with soapy water and rinse (with a hose if possible). Then dry thoroughly. 2 RESIN STAIN - ...very difficult to remove: once dry, scrape it off (delicately) by putting an ice cube on the inside to make it brittle and detach it more easily. 3 STORAGE - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould forming.
Storage Tips
Storage: after use or cleaning, wait until the tent is perfectly dry before putting it away in order to avoid bad smells and mould.
Restricted use
For more comfort, use two mummy-shaped mattresses.

Weight: 1.96 kg or 980 g per person. Compact bag with compression straps: 9.5 litres. Cover dimensions: 40 cm * 15 cm * 15 cm A second simple bag is provided to save weight if necessary.
Inner space
Bedroom length: 210 cm Width of the bedroom: 130 cm at the shoulders, 110 cm at the head and 80 cm at the feet. Bedroom height: 95cm Boosters (built-in single-strand poles) at the 4 corners increase the usable volume inside the tent. 60 m wide (at widest point) porch provides storage space that doesn't obstruct bedroom entrance. Storage for two 50-litre backpacks. 1 side pocket to store possessions.
Poles, pegs
Aluminium poles Ø 9 mm DAC Featherlite NSL lightweight and resistant to breakage and frost. Tent pegs: heavy duty and lightweight DAC aluminium tent pegs.
Pitching/striking
Extremely quick pitching/striking. The flysheet and bedroom are pre-assembled. Poles are attached to sleeves in the tent so you can save precious time when pitching. It is also quick to strike. To get the tent back in its bag, simply attach the poles together in the elastics (once folded), fold up the tent until it's roughly the width of the bag and then tightly roll up the tent and poles.
Waterproofing
Quechua tents must pass a laboratory test (pitched tent under a 200 L/m²/hr shower for 4 hours – equivalent to a tropical shower) as well as field test missions. 40 denier polyester (PE) flysheet with a polyurethane coating (inside) & silicone coating (outside), PE 75D groundsheet. Seams sealed with heat-sealed strips. Bedroom composed of breathable and water-repellent 40D polyester and a mosquito net to prevent contact with drops of condensation.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform where we can expose each side of the tent to the wind. To test its wind resistance, the tent must be properly pitched, taut but not stretched, with all the guy ropes in position around the tent. It should remain habitable at wind speeds of 70km/h, measured near ground level.
Ventilation and condensation prevention
Room partly covered with a mosquito net for ventilation and partly covered with a water-repellent fabric to protect against condensation and draughts. Large vent at the front of the tent's flysheet and additional vent at the feet-end. To reduce condensation inside your tent, it must be properly pitched, with the fabric kept taut without being over-stretched. Vents and good air flow will help reduce humidity inside your tent.
Sun protection
The flysheet fabric filters UV rays with a UPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV rays can pass through an open door. Protect your skin.
Eco-design
Entire tent made of 20% recycled materials, thereby reducing the product's environmental impact. Flysheet made of 50% recycled materials. The bedroom is made of a "bulk dyed" component that reduces the amount of water used. The tent poles are coloured using an innovative anodising process that does not use nitric and phosphoric acids.
Warranty and after-sales service
Every tent sold at Decathlon is guaranteed for 2 years of normal use (your receipt or loyalty card is used as proof of purchase).
