By the Snout of Offler! What a clever idea! A rain mack that packs away into its only pocket for storage and ease of transport. Why has no one thought of this before!

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont-Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, as we remain convinced that only through rigorous testing under real world conditions, like the ones you will be using them in, can we continue to provide you with better products than ever.
To ensure the highest standards of quality, our products are subjected to a stringent series of tests. In the laboratory, these trials put our components to the test: resistance to abrasion, rust… As well as our finished products: waterproof properties of tents under the shower test, resistance of backpacks to the "jerk test". In the field, the trials are designed to confirm, for example, the level of comfort of a duvet, the living conditions of a tent, the cushioning of a shoe…

Fabric is made waterproof and windproof by applying a coating or membrane to the inside. Waterproof fabric has the necessary technical characteristics to be considered windproof. Protection from the wind is critical, as whether playing sports or at rest, wind can chill the body significantly.
Waterproofing tests on the finished product
The garment is placed in a shower for several hours and subjected to simulated mist, shower, thunder shower and storm conditions. This test enables us to guarantee the waterproofing of NOVADRY®-labelled garments. NOVADRY® defines the ferocity of the weather conditions in the tests depending on the garment's target sports use. If it passes the weather test for its intended use conditions, it achieves NOVADRY® approval.
Materials used in children's clothing: We thoroughly test the dyeing process to make sure that the dye does not bleed when coming into contact with saliva.
Waterproofing tests on the component
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed as the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the greater the waterproof properties of the fabric. Components scoring 2000 mm can withstand the pressure of a column of 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a shower lasting one hour).
1/ Machine wash (30 to 40°C): fasten rip-tabs and use mild detergent. Wash jackets and trousers inside out. Loosen the straps and elasticated parts. 2/ Do not fold the garment too much in the machine: risk of wear. 3/ Do not mix different clothing types and colours. 4/ Do not bleach. 5/ Select a long rinse and gentle spin.
Either: line or tumble dry (low temperature, short cycle). Caution: Don't leave NOVADRY® garments on a heat source such as a radiator, as this may damage the breathable membrane or coating.
Reactivating the water repellent properties
