    Warm and dry

I have worn the jacket and inner together but it is a bit warm at this time of year. I have worn the outer in the rain and kept dry, and the inner is ideal if it is not raining.

Component waterproofing
We test a fabric's resistance to water pressure by measuring the height of a column of water supported by the fabric in mm (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure supported by the fabric, the more waterproof it is. A waterproof rating of 2000 mm means that the fabric can withstand the pressure exerted by 2000 mm column of water (the equivalent of a rain shower lasting for two hours).
