    Excellent tent!!
Easy to pitch, roomy and not hot, water tight too! none.

i agree with all of the previous reviews with regard to peoples tent envy, water tightness in storms, coolness in hot weather etc, the tent is easy to pitch and folds away to a nice sized bag. my only comment is this is really only a 4 man tent, the two sleeping compartments as great but you will not get three single air beds next to each other in one bedroom, so for a family of 5 it was lucky we went with friends as one of the kids went elsewhere, once the rooms have a double air bed or two singles they make nice spaces, little pockets at low lever to put torch etc in. the porch area is humungus and would benefit form the option of an extra sleeping pod. over all though a great tent at a great price.

    Excellent value
waterproof, easy to put up, high quality materials None

After camping this weekend and having very heavy downpours, this tent did extremely well not letting a single drop in and it wasn't even wet on the inside to the touch. The living space was easily big enough for me and my wife with table/chairs and cooking equipment (as well as 4 others who were sheltering from the rain. The design of the tent is very well thought out (raised edges of the groundsheet, colour coded eyelets/poles and top vents to stop condensation). A few of our friends got new "branded" tents in the same price bracket and they all had tent envey as the material was much thicker, more stable and of a higher general quality. At £219 and free delivery it was very good value for money. They even supply a spare pole, guide ropes and pegs.

great tent. very airy and loads of room
waterproof and fine in wind.overhang at front nothing

We camped in thunderstorms, strong winds, sunshine and heavy rain for 4 nights. Easy to put up. The fact that groundsheet is not integral makes it airy with no condensation. The front porch is great for sitting under if raining and stops rain entering when front door is unzipped. Very large living space and ample bedrooms. Windows can be unzipped to leave airy mesh. Loved it and it's a bargain price!

QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved by a full tent shower of 200l of water per square metre per hour. The water column test (=mm schmerber) is not a sufficient indicator for measuring tent waterproofing. Waterproof fabric is certainly necessary (our fabrics are waterproof from 1,000 mm!), but the tent must be designed and developed to resist any water from entering through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. Only a lab shower can test this.
Designed to
6-person FAMILY CAMPING trip tent with 2 separate bedrooms which is comfortable during warm weather and protected from insects.

Care instructions
1 CLEANING: clean the tent with soapy water if necessary, then rinse (with a hose if possible). Dry completely before storage. 2 SAP STAINS: very difficult to clean: once dry, gently scratch the stain. Rubbing an ice cube on the underside will make it brittle, making it easier to remove. 3 STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.
Restricted use
Sleeps 6, max. width of sleeping space = 65 cm/person.

Living area
Very comfortable. Extends from 11.5 to 15 m² under the permanent porch when front panel is fully opened -- Front panel can be opened even when it rains -- Light -- 3 doors and 5 big windows (can be closed off) -- Easy access thanks to the partially opening side -- Permanent porch = no need to set up and remove the porch throughout the day (when it rains, when you leave the tent, etc.) -- Basin groundsheet to prevent water from seeping into the tent. Removable groundsheet.
2 bedrooms comfortably sized for 3 (2 m x 2.10 m), and a comfortable 1.85 m of head room -- Breathable polyester -- 8 pockets inside + 4 outside each bedroom.
Cover Dimensions Weight
Rectangular case: 65 x 46 x 46 cm. Weight 29 kg
Like all Quechua tents, special care has been given to the waterproofing, which has been verified in lab tests (WHOLE TENT tested under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm!) and on field tests. -- Polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet -- Seams sealed using thermobonded tape -- 140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.
Ventilation and condensation prevention
Lined fly sheet in living space (impressive!) -- Space between ground and bottom of fly sheet -- Possible to open the top of the wall, even if it rains -- 2 net windows can be closed from the inside if it rains -- 2 doors and openable front wall allow you to open the tent to the maximum while staying out of the sun. Mosquito netting on all of the openings allows you to easily leave the tent "open".
Insect protection
The whole tent is protected from insects: Double mosquito net on the main door, 4 side flaps and bedroom doors -- Flysheet protected with mosquito flaps, allowing air through and keeping insects out.
